Pat was a devoted daughter and spent the latter years of her life caring for her mother. Pat subsequently spent several years as a personal shopper for McAlpins and Embrys. She also owned and operated The Quill, a stationary store on East Main. Together they operated Shaker Run, a broodmare farm. After working for D’Arcy Advertising, she returned to Lexington and married Duncan Stewart Jr. Pat began her career as a flight attendant during the Golden Age of air travel and flew for United Airlines based in Chicago. Special thanks to Judy Shropshire for adopting Lexie. The family also wishes to thank Vicky Kenney, Abbe Dodd and Jerrye Haggerty for their care and friendship. She leaves behind several LensCrafters co-workers, and special friends including Eloise Griffith Penn, Betsey Karns, and Jo Gawthrop. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Jones Mays brother Keith Edward Mays (Brynn Gallaher) niece Julia Elizabeth Mays Trimble (Trey) nephew Keith Edward Mays Jr. Pat was predeceased by her husband, David L. Pat was a former member of the Keeneland Club, Idle Hour Country Club, and Lexington Country Club. She was a retired optician at LensCrafters. Pat was a graduate of Henry Clay High School and attended the University of Kentucky. She was born in Richmond, Kentucky in 1947 to the late P. Patricia Elizabeth Mays McIntosh, 70 died in Lexington on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Funeral Time: Monday, December 11th at 2:00PM
